Hello @LboroGaryP ,

I am unsure what the difference is in the locations but it could be as simple as a switch not delivering enough power. We are all just volunteers here so keep playing or as suggested contact our Support organization in your region. Details are in my Signature.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier

Thanks Steffen, I've had a look at the PoE stats on the switch and the phone+EM is nowhere near the 10W it has budgeted, and the switch stack has plenty to spare.

Interestingly, we saw a very similar issue with our old Cisco CallManager 8961 handsets with expansion modules. They were very unreliable on PoE, although the switches always reported plenty of available power. Fitting PSUs to the phones resolved the issues there, and I had hoped the same would be true with the Poly kit, but our issues persist. FWIW my suspicion with the Cisco gear was that the PoE hardware inside the handset couldn't provide enough current for the EM, rather than the problem being at the switch, as the PSU sorted it.

I've registered for an HP Support Account and am waiting for the automated response to arrive. I think HP are having back-end problems still. though, as I have been unable to register any further device serial nubmers against my account today.
