@IQ5, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

I understand you're facing an issue where the Bluetooth option on your Windows 11 PC with a 12th Gen Intel processor disappears intermittently. Let's work together to fix this so Bluetooth stays consistently available.

Check Bluetooth Status in Device Manager

Sometimes the Bluetooth adapter may be disabled or hidden.

  • Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
  • Expand Bluetooth.
  • If you see your Bluetooth adapter (e.g., Intel Wireless Bluetooth), right-click and choose Enable (if disabled).
  • If it's missing, click View > Show hidden devices.

Run Bluetooth Troubleshooter

Windows has a built-in tool to fix common Bluetooth issues.

  • Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
  • Find Bluetooth and click Run.

Update Bluetooth Drivers

Outdated or corrupted drivers can cause instability.

  • Visit the HP Support site: Official HP® Support
  • Enter your PC model and download the latest Bluetooth and Chipset drivers.
  • Alternatively, you can update via Device Manager:
    • Right-click your Bluetooth adapter > Update driver > Search automatically.

Check for Windows Updates

Microsoft often releases fixes for hardware issues.

  • Go to Settings > Windows Update and click Check for updates.

Disable Power Saving for Bluetooth

Power management settings may turn off Bluetooth to save battery.

  • In Device Manager, right-click your Bluetooth adapter > Properties.
  • Go to the Power Management tab.
  • Uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

BIOS and Chipset Update (Advanced)

If the issue persists, updating BIOS and chipset drivers may help.

  • Visit your PC’s support page on HP Support. Official HP® Support
  • Download and install the latest BIOS and Intel Chipset drivers.

I hope the information shared has been useful and resolves your concern.

Wishing you a smooth and hassle-free experience ahead!
