Hi @Coolagedude,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Bluetooth Headset 500 isn't connecting to your Android phone, try these steps.

Ensure Headset is in Pairing Mode:

  • Make sure your headset is in pairing mode. Usually, this involves holding the power button until you see a blinking light.

Enable Bluetooth on Phone:

  • Go to your phone's settings and ensure Bluetooth is turned on.

Forget Previous Connections:

  • If the headset was previously paired with another device, try forgetting it from the Bluetooth settings on that device.

Scan for Devices:

  • On your phone, go to Bluetooth settings and scan for available devices. Your headset should appear in the list.

Select and Pair:

  • Tap on the headset's name in the list to pair. If a PIN is required, it’s usually "0000" or "1234."

Check Headset Battery:

  • Ensure your headset has sufficient battery. Charge it if needed.

Update Phone Software:

  • Make sure your Android phone's software is up to date.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart both your phone and headset to reset any potential issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
