Hello @tdickey
Greetings from Poly !!
Here are a few things you can try to isolate the problem
1. Is this issue occurring on different PCs?
2. Are you able to replicate the issue with another headset?
3. Did you test this headset with another Windows OS e.g. win 10, win 8?
4. Is this happening since day one?
If you are able to isolate this issue and find the headset at fault, please log a support ticket with Poly for further investigation.

1. Is this issue occurring on different PCs? Yes, I tested the headset on 2 other PCs for a total of 3, same recording quality.
2. Are you able to replicate the issue with another headset? I do not have another Polycom/Plantronics headset to replicate the issue. I have a Poly Sync 20-M and the quality is similar. I do not use it for recording calls.
3. Did you test this headset with another Windows OS e.g. win 10, win 8? No, all my computers are running Windows 11. 2 are running Professional and 1 is running Home.
4. Is this happening since day one? No, only after upgrading to Windows 11. Prior to upgrading I was able to select the microphone quality input, now I only have "1 channels, 16 bit, 16000 Hz (tape recorder)" available.
