Hello experts!

I have a basic question about RAID 0 HDD configuration when using PCIe for the OS, on a Z840.

Apparently, this seems possible, but the proposed RAID 0 configuration is then "Data Array".

When not using PCIe boot, RAID 0 can be either "Data Array" or "Striped Array" (I thought RAID 0 was always "Striped").

Would "Data Array" have worse performance over "Striped Array"?

For my usage, I wouldn't favor better performance for the OS at the expense of RAID performance.

Thanks!
Bertrand
