Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently purchased  an HP Pavillion specifically to run one application, a Queensland based theatre cue system called Show Cue System. I have used this package for many years on Win 7, and I wanted to upgrade to Win 10.

Show Cue Systems (SCS) allows a user to set up sound and lighting cues in order to control a live stage performance. SCS sends lighting cues to a Lighting Board and audio cues to a sound board via a third party device called MOTU Ultra-lite Hybrid.

The problems I have experienced have been related to sending audio cues. SCS interfaces with audio using a third party audio library called BASS (www.un4seen.com). These problems did not exist under Win 7. Also, I have tested SCS on another Win 10 machine (ASUS) and it works, albeit a little slow. The problems only occur when running on the HP platform.

I have sought and applied all the latest updates, including the latest BIOS.

I have been in touch with HP and I am waiting on an email. I just thought I would put this out to the forum in the hope that someone may be able to shed some extra light.

I look forward to hearing from anyone with any ideas.
