Elitebook 2170p
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have updated the BIOS of my old HP EliteBook 2170p, from ver F43 to F72.

The process has completed without reporting any error, but after the automatic reboot, the machine powers-on on it self without triggering the power button. The fan is working on full speed, all lights flash for a moment, then it restart without seeing anything at the screen.  The only way to shut it down, is to remove battery and power. When I plug one of them back in, it turns on again at the bootloop.

I can manage to enter BIOS after some tries by spamming ESC key and I tried to update an older version ,but it keeps remaining to F72.

Any ideas how to save the machine?
