Product: Chromebook 11 G3, G4, G5
Operating System: Chrome OS

My school just went 1:1 with HP Chromebooks this year. We have a mix of HP 14", HP 11"G3, G4, & G5. The bulk of these devices have been purchased in the last year.

 

I have been having MANY of the 11" devices that will not charge nor turn on even if connected to a charger. I send them off to be repaired to an approved vendor. Many of the repairs require a new system board. The repair costs almost more than the device itself.

 

Have there been issues with the 11" model and its system board?

I may have to look at a different brand if I am going to have to already begin replaicng devices after 1 year of use.
