Product: Folio 9480m
Operating System: Linux
Hello,
I have a Folio 9480m, with Ubuntu 16.04 installed. Works fine.
But when I attach it to a docking station, the CPU fan speeds up to what must be full speed. Quite noisy.
lm-sensors don't seem to pick up a fan to control, so all instructions I can find on the 'net just fail.
Is it possible to control the fan in this model?
I don't mind scripting or setting manually, I'm just wondering if there is a control interface.
I saw an option in BIOS to enable fan when on AC, but this is disabled. And the fan speeds up only
in the docking station, not when connected to AC.
Any hints appreciated & thanks in advance
kalle
