Since I bought this laptop for work and gaming purpose. I am not looking to buy cooling pads for it if this can work. So basically I reduced the Maximum Processor state from 100% to 99% when on battery and 100% to 95% when Plugged in and Minimum Processor State is set to 5%(default setting) for both(on battery and plugged in). After playing couple of games for for few days namely Warhammer and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The noted CPU temperature was between 58C - 61C and GPU temp was between 49C-55C. My laptop was little warm towards right side but was cool to the left. So will this harm the motherboard ? And is it okay to continue playing games with this config. Please let me know.
