Product: HP ZBook 14u G6
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
There is another thread here with a users with the same system except it is a G5 where mine is a G6. I am having random shutdown and when boots up with the HP Sure rubbish software coming up with blah blah. The issue seems that it might be a thermal issue as Event ID 88 with Power Kernel error. This is due to Thermal protection. This is the details in Event log:
The system was hibernated due to a critical thermal event.
Hibernate Time = 2020-10-21T11:11:46.686146900Z
ACPI Thermal Zone = \_SB.PCI0.LPCB.EC0.HEPZ
_HOT = 353K
This is a new laptop very annoyed. It seems to be happening when using Zoom meetings and the system does get hot.
