Hello,
Ever since I got back from a family member’s place, my laptop has been unable to connect to the wifi unless I was in close range of the adapter. I recently updated my laptop and everything was working fine afterwards so it can’t be due to the update.
My driver is Intel Dual Band Wireless-Ac 3168 and Realtek PCLe GBE family controller. The laptop is only about 3 to 4 years old.
i have tried
-uninstalling and reinstalling my network adapter
-tried updating my driver but it’s already in the latest version
-Flushing the DNS
- when I trouble shoot It finds a problem with wireless adapter or access point and tells me that a network cable is not properly plugged in or may be broken. I checked and everything is fine.
-From my room I am able to connect and receive strong wifi signals from other devices like my phone or my mom’s laptop but my own laptop either cannot detect any wifi signal at all or it’s very weak.
I want to say thank you advance to those who answer
