Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Ok, so as the title says I'm having an issue where my monitor flicks off and back on when loading some windows 10 native  apps (in particular video related apps)

I have an AOC monitor (Q3279VWF) connect via HDMI to an HP-ENVY X360 15-BP1XX. I run in a dual monitor config using the laptop and the external screen. When I open the native Windows 10 Netflix app  (or some other things related to video) the AOC monitor will flick off and then come back on about 5 seconds later. I can reproduce this issue by opening and closing the Netflix app.

If I connect the AOC monitor directly to the laptop via HDMI and then load the Netflix app the issue does not occur at all. I suspect it might be a slight issue with HP USB-C g4 Dock.

I have tried the following

- updated to latest BIOS for my system

- updated the firmware for the HP USB-C G4 dock

- updated the Intel graphics drivers and the Nvidia card drivers.

- run the HP support tool to make sure all current drivers are up to date
