Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Model #: HP G42-368TX Notebook PC
OS: Windows 7 Home Basic OA SEA

 

Good day everyone. I would like to reformat my notebook but I don't have the Windows installer with me anymore. Tried looking for the installer on the Windows website but it says there to contact device manufacturer. Tried looking for the installer on the HP website but it says there that they can't find the software for my device. I'm given the option to manually search for it on the HP website but I'm not sure if the installer for Windows 7 (64-bit) will work with the product key for Windows 7 Home Basic OA SEA. Will the Windows 7 (64-bit) work with the product key that I have? I don't want to risk reformatting my device without knowing if the software on the HP website will work with my product key. Thank you! 🙂
