Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hey Everyone,

It seems this line has issues with SSD's a lot from what I have read, but usually that's after migrating an OS to the new SSD. My system won't even boot upon installing the SSD. I get the Inaccessible Boot Device screen with endless restart attempts.

- cannot see drive in BIOS outside of diagnostics (that sounds like a crappy BIOS version issue though)

Running Diagnostics on Startup, the system sees the new drive and it looks fine, but Windows seems to be having a conflict with it. Windows Updates are up to date for 8.1.

Drive is a Dogfish MSATA 240GB SSD.

Not sure if this is related to machine limitations, windows update, or possible a driver issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Eventually I do want to clone the C drive of my current HDD to this SSD and bot OS from there, but not even close to that point yet from what I can tell.

thank you!
