 This system is about 20 years old and I purchased it off ebay. It works perfect but it had Windows XP Pro installed. Why would someone waste a good license on such an old system? Even in 2001 when XP came out I would not have done that. Anyway I hope I can get some help needed. I want to make a old Windows and DOS Vantage computer. Back in 1998 I purchased a Compaq Presario 5151. The one I just got off ebay has almost the same specs and uses the same restore CD. That is what I am looking for maybe someone from Compaq or now it's HP can help with such an old system. The CD should be red and have 
Compaq Presario quick-restore for models: 5062/5150/5151/5152/5156 

I remember that like it was yesterday. I purchased from a site restoredisk.com and they sent the wrong blasted disk the package they sent had 2 disk and it restored but it was Windows 98 SE. I would like the orignal 98 First. I know Windows 98 SE is more stable but want to get this as close to my orignal setup as I can. I just miss the good old days and miss that 5151 so much even though it did crash allot and I used the restore allot so I remember what the disk had on it. Also the ones restoredisk.com sent they were the Powerquest Drive Image software. The Quick Restore CD i had the software looked more like norton ghost blue background with white bar. I also had another Presario I cannot remember the model but it was Windows 95 and had the same recovery software as the 5151.  There is another site I am going to try when I get a refund from restoredisk.com. Another quick question does anyone know where I can download the old compaq Softpaqs? HP pulled them all and they shoud have kelp them I am upset about that even though the computer is old it did still work and there are several old compaqs floating around on ebay where are people getting drivers? Someone please help me though I took the time to type this out and have also spent most of the afternoon today searching and searching for the Quick Restore CD online.
