Product: Compaq CQ58

We have a Compaq CQ58 with a very slow Wi-fi connection. Other laptops in the house work perfectly.

 

The CQ58 came with Windows 8 and has been updated to Windows 10 - but the diagnostics still show this model as being Windows 8. HP have no driver updates available for it and all windows updates have been done.

 

It has a RealtekPCLeFE  Family Controller and the properties show a protocal of WiFi 4 802.11n, network channel 6 and 2.4 GHZ

 

To work effectively with our router we believe we need a protocol of WiFi 5, network channel 48 and 5GHZ (this is what our other laptop has)


Can anyone tell me where I can get a download to solve this or if there is anything else I can do?  Thanks
