Product: HP Spectre x360 - 13-ae011dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
The very helpful option to disable touchpad when a mouse is connected disappears in most Win 7/10/11 systems after some automatic updates. Typing texts becomes impossible for most people who tend to touch the pad accidentally while writing which causes random parts of text to be selected/deleted etc.
The only possible option for the touchpad is its sensitivity. Even disabling it doesn't work, and after reinstalling it installs itself automatically.
This issue has been brought up to HP support attention for many years (I saw posts from 2015) - is there any solution to it now?
