I've had the strangest issue with my laptop that's been a consistent problem for a year. No driver/OS/BIOS updates have resolved the issue, which leads me to believe it's a motherboard or power supply issue.

Every few weeks, my computer randomly enters a glitchy state where the keyboard stops working properly. It starts missing keystrokes, some of the keys stop working altogether, it randomly turns caps lock on and off, and none of the lights work. If I hold down one key on the keyboard, it causes the entire computer to freeze until I let go of the key. It's extremely frustrating. Often my USB mouse stops working properly as well (usually the scroll wheel stops functioning). Even restarting the computer normally doesn't fix the issue. The only way to fix it is to hold down the power button for 10 seconds until the computer hard reboots, which lasts for a couple weeks until the issue comes up again.

I've already tried every software scan and update on the planet, which makes me think it's a hardware issue. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

I recorded a video of the issue happening, let me know if it would be helpful to see it.
