Product: hp 840 g1
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

In my hp 840 g1 win 7/win 8.1 finger print driver is recognized by the driver manager. The hardware is also recognized by hp client security/protect tools. but main problem is I cant enroll my finger print. in order to set fingerprint i pass the finger over the sensor but it doesnt response, even i cant see any light inside the sensor.

 

I am using updated official driver for this model downloaded from hp website, my bios is also updated. I also do a hard reset and reinstalling fresh windows but nothing was helpful.

 

so is it a hardware issue? or other technical problem?
