HP Recommended
OfficeJet 5255
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My OJ 5255 is able to connect to the network router, but cannot connect to the internet:

  • Network Status = Ready
  • Active Connection Type = Wireless
  • Signal = Excellent
  • Internet = Not Connected

I've tried all the suggestions about turning the router and printer off & on, as well as going to the IP address and trying to make changes there, but with the printer not being on the internet, none of the changes stick. I've even reset to the original factory settings and setup the wireless connection again, but it comes out the same -- connects to the router just fine, but has no internet connection.

I'd be grateful for any suggestions on other things to try. I have instant ink and the printer won't print until I reestablish my ink account, which I can't do until the printer is back online.
