Product: M603
Operating System: Microsoft Windows Server 2008 (64-bit)

We have a HP M603dn printer with max memory installed. When a large PCL file is sent to the printer it is very slow compared to my HP 5200tn.  I was thinking it I should update the firmware to the latest version to possibly improve the peformance. Current Firmware Version:213029_191795 / Date code: 20111118. I downloaded the lates version but it appears I cannot load it as my current version is too old and does not support FutureSmart.

Question how do I upgrade the firmware?

 

Or is there some other option to improve the printer speed when handling a PCL file?
