Product: Officejet 3831
Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

Please can someone help with installing Officejet 3831 all-in-one printer - scanner on an Apple MacM1 Pro. I have tried using the Mac Monterey OS to install the printer and scanner which has been successful to a point but I do not get full scanner functionality especially when scanning multiple documents into one document.  I have also tried HP smart which gives even less functionality. The PC version of the software gives much better functionality. Is it possible that there is a way of getting the system of PC functionality on my MacBook?  Is it possible to download the PC drivers and run them under Rossetta2?. Would that work?
