Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

In the "Synchronize with a Network Time Server" section of "Date & Time" preferences, I have set "Time Server" to "time.nrc.ca". When I click "Save & Test", the printer happily synchronizes with the NTP server. However, when I come back to the settings later, the "Time Server Status" shows "Network time synchronization error" and the last successful synchronization is whenever I last clicked the "Save & Test" button. Is there something I'm missing here?
