HP Recommended
Chrome OS

I am looking for a new printer to replace Samsung M2070W which I purchased about 1 year ago and which will no longer be able to print from my Chromebook since Google Cloud Print is going away.  I will have to junk this printer, barely used.

So my new printer should:

Be monochrome laser printer

Print via Wifi

Print remotely to it from anywhere in the world

Print from Chrome Browser

Print documents on ChromeOS outside of the browser

Printer needs to have copy function

Printer needs to be able to scan to ChromeOS (via Wifi)

I assume such a printer doesn't exist?

It's a letdown by Google since all these ChromeOS machines won't be able to print. It's also a letdown by HP since they bought Samsung and didn't provide any means to get the Samsung printers going even though it is still under warranty and HP doesn't list even correct information about which MFP is compatible with CUPS printing under Chrome.

If there is no HP printer, can you recommend me any brand and any model in the world that will work as I described, I don't care what brand it is as long as it is going to work.

This is a nice post and from what I understand it pretty much summarizes the hopeless situation for ChromeOS users:
