Samsung Xpress SL-M2835DW Laser Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Support Assistant cannot recognize my Samsung Xpress SL-M2835DW Laser Printer. When I entered its information manually, it created the device on my Windows 10 control board. However, it doesn't show any of the drivers and apps associated with the printer, which is working just fine. But HP Support Assistant keeps wanting to download stuff already on my laptop.

The device that was already listed on the control board was the one created when I set up the printer in May 2017. If I open it, a Samsung created window opens, and it has a link to the Samsung website. The printer properties have a Samsung tab with links to the Samsung website. Do I need to delete this device, in order to get accurate updates from HP?

Also, should I delete or uninstall Samsung Printer Live Update, which is what  Samsung support used?

As you can probably tell, I'm not very technical.
