DJ T790
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Keeps giving printhead error telling me to reseat MK-Y,  as a result it cannot/doesn't want to complete install of other printheads and they too display error "replacement not completed"
MK-Y is error 0x00002, remaining 2 are 0x00008

I thought that issue is purely printhead related, I bought a set of brand new genuine HP printheads and installed them today, same issue.
I have successfuly determined that new printheads are not at fault, since after T790 refused them I installed them in my old 1120 which was eager to work with them, test print came out beautiful, printheads are fine.

I have also tried resetting it and turining back on with no paper or printheads, didn't work.
Went into diagnostics and recovered HDD, didn't help.
Cleaned the printhead contacts in carriage, nothing.

I pretty much went thru all basic troubleshooting.
Did anyone find a reasonable solution?
There was this thread here a while ago, guy ended up replacing half the printer, with no luck.
Now I am not sure if I am willing to spend in excess of $1000 for a printer that costed about $4000 when new, especially if the results are not guaranteed...
