Hi HP community,

This is going to be a long post and I apologize for that in advance. I am quite frustrated and seems that I have tried all the possible solutions so I will greatly appreciate any help and advices.

Today when I attempted to print something, I got the error message that the printer is not connected, even though it was. So I restarted my router, my computer and then my printer with no positive outcome and the problem was still there. Then I restarted the whole printing system, which deleted all my printers and then I have uninstalled the drivers.

After downloading the "Easy start" again I was able to successfully get to the step of installing the software. However, the installation would not begin as I got an error message that the "Software cannot be obtained". After multuple restarts of computer-router the problem was not solved, software could not be found and hence downloaded. Though I am 100% sure that there is a network connection as the internet succesfully works on all the devices.

So instead I have downloaded the file with all the HP drivers and made sure that the drivers for my printer are on it. Then I was able to succesfully connect my printer and my computer through General Settings>Add printer>Choose printer>Use: HP envy 4520 all-in-one series and that seemed to solve the connection problem. My printer and computer do now "see each other" I have checked that by inserting the printer IP details to my browser and the website wih my printer has opened. Printing function also works now, which is great. However, scanner is still unavaliable through the Easy Scan app and the general scanner option. I get error 9923 which stands for "an error occured while communicating to the scanner."

When acessing HP Utility and clicking "Scan to computer" I get the following message: "Scan to computer cannot be enabled. The HP software required for Scan to Computer could not be located on this computer. Please download and install the latest HP recommended software for your device from http://www.hp.com/support, and then try again."

And here is where I hit the point where I do not know what else to do as downloading drivers which are essentially "Easy Start" file again leads me to the same issue where the software cannot be obtained.

My printer is relatively new I got it around April and have not had a single problem until today. I am sorry for all the details, but I figured that this way it is easier to detect if I have made any mistakes in the process and that I do not get suggested the same troubleshooting methods again.

Thank you all in advance!
