Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

Hi.

 

My macbook air cannot recognize the USB for the printer.

 

I tried resetting the printer and it disappered from my list.

 

I am unable to instiallize the printer as my mac is not reading the USB. I bought a new cable too but the problem continues

 

May someone please help me ASAP
