If you have a good idea for a Desktop or Notebook support video, post it to this thread so I can consider it. The more popular the topic and better suited for video (frequent issue, common question, hard to explain in text, etc.), the better chance I'll have a video created for it.
Any ideas?

Mister_Do, this is a great idea.
I know that HP is not in the business to have their products upgraded, but it is going to happen. Any "Howto" video on upgrading the power supply unit (PSU), video card or memory, would be very helpful. These are the most upgraded components for those who want to game. I know that this information, at least for the PSU, is available in the Product Specifications for some models. However, it may be better to have them in a separate topic where they are readily accessible to all.

Hi old_geekster,
That is a good idea. I was just talking to Raster Blaster about this topic yesterday and we also thought it would be a good topic to do something on upgrading hardware. I'll put this in our video queue and let you know when we are working on it.
Thanks!

It may sound strange, but videos on extremely basic things like how to enable the wireless radio on a notebook are questions that we see fairly frequently.
I just answered a query like that today. There are people who have no idea how things work. They must either be persuaded to read the notebook manual or see an animated video. An animated video that shows the blue and amber led when wireless is activated or not would be nice.

Hi erico,
Thanks for the suggestion. I agree with you that some people just want basic answers. For this reason, we just released this video on some commonly asked, basic Notebook questions: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ge4HN47mRqo
In this video, we mention how to enable Wireless. Let me know if this is they type of video you were looking for.
As a reference, here is the YouTube channel that I manage:

Hi old_geekster,
I almost forgot to post this link out here. We did create a general Upgrading Hardware video as you requested. Here is the link:
