Poly Studio P5 app just updated to version 2.0 and I lost the ability to zoom. It was previously on the Controls tab but now that feature is gone. Please bring back the zoom capability.

Hello @CSBlackwell ,

Welcome to the HP Poly community.

It would help if you could provide details if you updated the Firmware of the Poly Studio P5 or the Poly Lens app.

it would also be helpful to provide what device it is connected to and what application you are using with it.

https://lens.poly.com/ holds all available firmware versions and Lens Desktop can be used to downgrade the Firmware if required. Once installed, select Support > Device Info & Logs > Custom Software Update

If no other volunteers reply, I suggest you contact our Support organization in your region. Details are in my Signature.

Best Regards

The update was for the Poly Lens App. The camera is attached to a Dell Latitude 5420 running Windows 11 Enterprise. I am using the Ploy Lens application and camera for WebEx and Microsoft Teams. I will look into possibly downgrading the firmware version but any other assistance based on my setup would be appreciated.

Lens Desktop is downloaded and installed. I have followed the steps described to downgrade the firmware but I cannot find the version 1.5.1 firmware. I have looked on the website but it says "There is no software or drivers available for your product." Please provide a link to download the 1.5.1 firmware.

Hello @CSBlackwell ,

Are we talking Poly Lens Desktop software or Poly Studio P5 firmware ?

Both can be found via Poly Lens cloud https://lens.poly.com/

I need whatever firmware downgrade that will allow me to zoom (or crop) the feed showing in the Poly Lens Desktop software. I am not sure if that needs to be for the Poly Lens Desktop software or the Poly Studio P5 firmware.

Hello @CSBlackwell

as a volunteer I just tested this and it is the Poly Lens desktop update 2.0 or later that removes this feature.

Downgrading the App to Poly Lens Desktop 1.5.1 restores the functionality within the App.

Microsoft Teams has the ability to use the Zoom as well when navigating to Settings > Devices > Video > Select P5 > and then Open Camera Settings

I am unsure where you find the same using WebEx.

There is also a workaround documented >here< to access camera control features.

If you would like to use any version from 2.0 onwards please raise a ticket via https://lens.poly.com/appfeedback and mention USER-9863

Best regards
