Hi All
I wonder if anyone  has come across a requirement to lockdown the directory or contact list on a Poly Rove Handset so it cannot be edited by a user?

Hello, @VikeshSolanki Welcome to the HP Poly Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

To lock down the directory/contact list on a Poly Rove Handset to prevent user editing, you need to set a phone lock PIN. This will prevent unauthorized access and modification of the phone's information, including the directory.

Here's how to set a phone lock PIN:

  1. Access the Settings: Navigate to the settings menu on your Poly Rove handset.
  2. Locate Security Settings: Find the security or lock settings option within the settings menu.
  3. Set a PIN: Choose the option to set a phone lock PIN and enter a PIN code that you will remember.
  4. Confirm the PIN: You may be required to confirm the PIN you just entered.

Once the phone lock PIN is set, the directory will be protected, and users will not be able to modify it without entering the correct PIN.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance. If you find the information provided useful or it solves your problems, help other users find the solution more easily by giving Kudos/Thumbs Up and marking my post as an Accepted Solution.
