Win10 Pro x64.
Printer connects/prints via USB but not via Ethernet direct connection or through router. Printer Ethernet connection not located by install disc but is located by HP Print and Scan Doctor by IP addfress. Doctor says software not installed then DLs and installs software - but still will not print. Uninstalled and did the whole thing over again: ditto. If I repeat Doctor without uninstall it says software (still) not installed - although it said it was installed before I ran it again.
Ethernet router/printer connection is good (port light on) and IP address displayed on printer screen so I assume the Ethernet cable/connection is OK. Network/Homegroup print sharing enabled. Windows/HP troubleshooter does not ID any issues.
Anything else I might try.
Thanks,
Monk
