Product: HP Chromebook 14-q029wm
Operating System: Chrome OS
A few weeks ago, my Chromebook began spontaneously powering down. I originally thought this was due to low battery, but after a few days I couldn't log on at all, even when battery was fully charged, or machine was plugged into the AC.
Would get the password prompt and be able to enter the password okay, but then the machine would lock. Cursor still worked, but nothing responded, not even the onscreen "Shut Off" button. Only way to turn off the machine was to close lid or use the keyboard power button.
Is there any way to fix this, or is this machine now dead?
Thank you!
