Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hello can someone direct me to a workaround for following.I have a great ,

little HP Photosmart C3100 series printer i want to pass on to a family member but the software disc i have is for windows XP & 2000 but her laptop is Win 10 and  wont accept the software so how can we work round this as it is a great little printer and far from at lifes end like the installation disc. Assistance and direction on the matter would be gratefully & kindly accepted.I thank younall in Anticipation of a positive reply. Thanks
