Product: HP 15-ac100 Series
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have a HP Laptop ac154ne i7 6500U with 8GB RAM DDR3 and 1TB 5200RPM HDD. I was wondering does it support nvme m.2 SSD?
I was all set for Samsung 850 EVO 500GB but my friend says buying SSD’s for laptops is not good. He recommends 7200RPM HDD because SSD’s are expensive and performance degradation over time is exponential.
Will the Samsung 850 EVO 500GB ssd fit in the slot? Can I boot from it? Any information is helpful. If this ssd is not compatible with my computer, please list some that are.
Any information will be helpful. Thanks
