We have a HP Color LaserJet flow MFP M880 that we use to scan documents and send them to email.
Recently it sttoped working when apparently nothing was changed.
1. Printer is connected to our network.
2. Has static IP, DNS Servers defined.
2. Printer connects to our Exchange 2010 server to send emails, relay in Exchange is enabled for that particular IP address.
3. Setup Wizard is set correctly with Exchange IP Address, requires no authentication, no SSL.
Here are the symptoms after setting up the Outgoing Email Server (SMTP):
If I do a test send to an email address in our domain it never arrives.
If I do a test send to an external email address (gmail) it arrives correctly.
While scanning and sending to domain email addresses, printer's job log show the status as "Success" but never arrives.
While scanning and sending to external email addresses, log shows the same but it does arrives.
Going crazy here...
Any help would be appreciated.
