I downloaded the setup software from 123.hp.com/setup, ran it and went through the steps:
1- On 1st computer, I skipped the activation. Next involved entering a postal code. I tried my canadian postal code, but it is refused. For some obscure reason, at this point the installation software refuses to execute if you don't supply a US postal code. I entered 90210 because that's the only code I know 🙂
2- On 2st computer, I tried to learn from my own mistake and tried to create an account to indicate that I'm canadian. I entered my info (name, email address) but the country says 'United States' and there's no way to change it.
Q: how do I create a canadian account in the installation script?
