Product: Compaq Elite 8300 Microtower
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I am having trouble with installation of a Nvidia GT1030 graphics card. I believe the trouble is that both that card and the on-board graphics are installed and at boot-up the on-board graphics is being selected for use. For this system, what is the best way to disable the on-board graphics?
I have tried simply disabling the driver for the on-board graphics but then I get only a black monitor screen. I've seen on-line the suggestion that I disable it in the BIOS but I do not see that option in my BIOS screen.
