HP Recommended

I opened the package of my HP LaserJet Pro MFP125nw print cartridge. However, there is an orange plastic thing attached to the print cartridge and connected to a tape that is inside the print cartridge. 

 

Do I need to pull out the tape by pulling out the orange plastic thing?

 

I ended up pulling on the orange thing and pull out about 4 inches of the tape but then I stopped because the tape kept coming out. I thought there would only be 1-2 inches of tape.
