ELiteBook 8560w
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop has currently a total of 12GB, that is 4GB on the original motherboard and an additional 8GB in one of the memory slots. I intended adding anothe 8GB (arriving at a total of 20GB) in the second slot that is currently free.

The 8GB SODIMM that I currently have installed and has been working for about five years is a SiQuell.

The label on it says: 200PIN DDR3 PC1333 8G.

According to the HP Store website the SODIMM that has 204pin is also compatible with the EliteBook8560w.

Is this true? Could I use the 204pin with this laptop?

From the wikipedia info I understood that even the slot is at a different place on these SODIMMS.

I do understand that the DDR3 and the memory speed are important and they must match, but would it work st all with a 200pin and a 204pin plugged in, at the same time?
