HP ENVY 14-3000 SPECTRE Notebook PC series
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi,

MY Envy14 Spectre no longer seems to charge from the Smart AC Adapter.  The Win7 battery/power icon in SysTray doesn't show charging when I plug in my current Smart AC Adapter.  However, the USB port on that Smart AC Adapter does appear to properly charge a cell phone that's cabled to it...

So I can only guess that the portion of the Smart AC Adapter that charges the Envy14t-3000 is no longer working.

I've tried get an aftermarket 25$ charger and they failed and sent me the wrong charger twice now.  So I have decided to spend the 60-70$ to get a new genuine HP Smart AC Adapter that's guaranteed to work.

I used PartsSurfer to deduce (via my Product # A1V77AV) that the replacement charger is PN: 693716-001.  And yes the picture certainly looks correct too.

However, for the life of me, I cannot order the replacement Smart AC Adapter 693716-001.  2 phone CSRs gave me the wrong phone number to buy he part and then a bogus non-working email address to get it ordered (respectively).  I tried the HP PArts Web Site and then "popular" chargers they offer aren't mine.

How can I order this part and get it shipped to me ?   Any help is greatly appreciated.  I amat wits end here

Thanks
