        Product: Laserjet Pro CM1415fnw

Operating System: macOS 10.13 High Sierra

Old but reliable Laserjet Pro colour multifuntion CM1415fnw.  Printer says 2 toners are "very low". And the printer's own web page agrees. But the operating system's status (Mac High Sierra) shows both nearly full. I am inclined to believe the printer.
I have discovered that there is newer firmware (20120629 date code) for my printer, but there does not seem to be any way to download and install it, at least from Mac OS. Many HP printers apparently can connect directly over the internet to install firmware, but this one does not seem to offer that option. I have gone through the service menus carefully.
