I'm thinking of upgrading the network card in my laptop from the Broadcom BCM43142 (m.2), which is worse than using two cans and a string for connecting to the internet, to the Intel AC9260. However on the sell page of the AC9260 it said that HP block installing unknown network adaptors on their laptops. Is this the case? If so which is the best 2x2 wifi card that is supported by my laptop, is there a list of supported cards somewhere?
