I have been looking into multiple forums, and my problem still was not solved. my laptop has had this issue recurringly. Every now and then, my laptop just disables my keyboard out of the blue. Sometimes it also disables the mousepad along with it, but sometimes the mousepad works while the keyboard fails. i have tried to hard reset it, but nothing happens. Yesterday I was able to fix the issue by updating the driver on the keyboard, but ever since i got back on i had to use the on-screen keyboard. my laptop will send me notifications as if i am in tablet mode, but my latop physically is in notebook mode. it will say things like 'autorotate on' or have the icon for the on screen keyboard on in the bottom right of my screen on the taskbar. taking the latopin tablet mode and physically flipping it into tablet mode wont do anything either. please help.
