Hi all,

Sorry if this is the wrong topic, I wasn’t sure where to put this.
I’ve been trying to take off the back cover of my omen 15-dc0508na laptop, but after removing all the screws the cover still seems to be strongly fixed and it seems it’s almost impossible to remove the cover without damaging the laptop. What is the best way to remove the cover?

Also related, I want to remove the battery and use the laptop completely by ac power from the charger cable to preserve the battery as I don’t plan on unplugging the laptop for a week+, is this viable with this laptop?
