Hi. When laptop works from the power supply unit, and i play games, CPU is stably throttling, CPU's frequency drops to 0.8 MHz (Power Throttling turns on), of course, playing games is impossible with any settings, since because of throttling, When laptop works from battery, Current Limit turns on, and the processor frequency does not fall, it keeps around 2.8 GHz, and it becomes comfortable to play.
The problem is most likely with video cards. CPU in the load test behaves normally.
I tried changing power management settings, setting up NVIDIA and Intel HD drivers, reinstalling drivers, disabling PL through group policies, undervolting. It doesn’t help anything, playing games constantly with the battery is not very comfortable.
Can i enable CL, when laptop uses power supply, or disable PL?
Tests from Intel XTU:
with battery
with power supply
