I Purchased my laptop in September of 2018, and after a couple of weeks, I started experiencing issues where the internet connection drops unexpectedly. I've contacted HP support they said everything is working fine I've also reached HP SmartFriend, and they didn't find the issue. I'm aware it's not my internet connection because when the problem occurs my other devices continue to work just fine and the internet connection also drops when connected to my college wifi or the Starbucks wifi. The power management setting on the Dual Band Wireless-AC is off the technician worked on that. At first, I notice when using Google Chrome web browser the connection would drop and now I'm experiencing with Microsoft Edge. I've also tried FireFox, and the connection drops. The troubleshoot resets the Wi-Fi adapter and the problem it detects state, "the default gateway is not available" and "problem with the wireless adapter or access point." Also, Google Chrome web browser states, "DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET, and the Microsoft Edge web browser error details state, "The DNS name does not exist" with the error code "INET_E_RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND."
