I have a major problem with my printer drivers.
HP Envy, working fine, enrolled in Instant Ink. W10 update about 6 weeks ago, printer still Ok (local test page prints) but will not print from computer. Shows in Windows as installed, but drivers missing.
I jumped in (and found many people were in a similar situation) so after using all the 'solutions' on offer on the HP support website I gave up and waited. Since then I have tried several time, most notably today. I have used HP Print and Scan Doctor, another support tool that is alleged to work in difficult situations, I have uninstalled and re-installed everything several times over. Windows still says it is missing drivers and it wont work.
Does HP care? Quite obviously not, I am unable to speak to a person and the virtual chat just goes around in as circle without solving the problem.
Ay ideas? I am on the point of throwing it in the bin and buying a Cannon or Epsom printer.
Anyone got any ideas? The only thing that I can thinkof is going and buyng a Cannon or Epsom printer.
