Hi community,

I looked over the BIOS options of my nice new Specte x360 and found the Battery care function that I can set to 50, 80 and 100%.

So my initial thought was that I finally have a function that stop micro charging my battery if it is drained just for a low percentage once I attache the charger. So I set it to 50% and yes, it will not charge if the battery is above 50%.

Unfortunately my thoughts were wrong. As soon as the battery is below 50% it will start charging once I connect AC power but it will charge only to 50%! Not sure how this can save the battery, so anybody an idea if this is by design or a glitch in the software?

My personal opinion is that it should indeed not start charging until my battery is below 50% but then start charging until it is at 100%.

What do you thing?

Looking forward to your feedback.

Happy Holidays from The Netherlands 😉
